    We were happy to venture away from our own neighborhood out to Off the Record. We had great service. Loved my cocktail. Food was excellent. The cauliflower is so good...don't skip!

    Pucca desi bar. Nostalgic Indian snacks. Masala peanuts, Thengai maamga Sunday, etc. Overall food was the best. Ambiance is good. Service is good. Overall a good desi experience.

    So many new restaurants and businesses have opened up in this area and I may have recently forgotten how much I enjoy dinners at Off the record. Friend and I were looking for a place that's open late on a weekday and glad i revisited this place. Chicken 65 for starters, Chicken Vijaywada biryani for mains. Good strong flavors and hearty portions. One app and one entree were more than enough for the two of us and we even had some leftovers. But I'll tell you the real reason you should visit this cute little spot, the bar. If you need a break go on a weekday, ask Keshava (owner, and bartender par excellence) to make you a smoked old fashioned. Sit out in the heated patio and enjoy some time sublime. Keshava is also your man if you are into good whiskey shots at great prices.
